An extraordinary coloratura soprano as well as a composer,
Jordan Corbin
began her career in Europe where she studied with some of the most sought after names in Opera. She returned to the States where in New York, she starred in over 40 roles ranging from Violetta in Traviata to Musetta in La Boheme. She now teaches classical voice in Shoreline along with coaching bands on Saturday Night Live and American Idol contestants on “Good Morning America”. Jordan will be featuring one of her own compositions, “A Zen Song Cycle”.
Kristina Henckel
grew up playing piano in the Czech Republic where she graduated with a master’s in Piano Performance. A phenomenal talent, she has been awarded prizes in many piano competitions including the Chopin International Piano Competition. A veteran of the US Army, she played with the Army Band as the featured soloist until beginning her doctoral work at the University of Oklahoma. She now teaches piano at Pierce College and resides in Dupont with her family.
